RIM may authorized BlackBerry 10 system to Samsung and HTC

January 5th evening, according to technology website MobileSyrup reported that the U.S. investment bank Jefferies analyst Peter Misek in a report addressed to the customer, said he believes RIM has began to authorized BlackBerry 10 operating system to Samsung, HTC and other mobile phone manufacturers.

An industry source said that Misek didn’t reveal other details in the report, he thought that HTC or Samsung wouldn’t license for other operating systems. At present, HTC and Samsung are mainly use the Google’s Android operating system and Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system.

In addition, Samsung has its own Bada operating system, HTC is interested in developing or purchasing mobile operating system. If RIM authorized BlackBerry 10 to other companies, although the service sector revenues will increase, the company’s hardware business will be under some pressure.
